One Week!

Here we sit, Betsy and Sarah, counting down the days to the trip!

We've got a lot to do yet. We're finalizing the playlists for the "interactive" journey booklets, but we have too many songs and not enough points in the trip... Maybe we'll just create another list of stops, or just use the songs in seperate mixes. For all we know, everyone will hate us by the end of the trip for playing all our favorite songs :) (Please, hate us silently.)

Get Excited!

This is the official blog of the Spring Hills Youth Colorado Adventure Trip Summer 2006.

In less than three weeks two vans full of Spring Hills PCA youth, three fearless leaders, and all their luggage will be taking off from St. Louis, MO and will venture to the far reaches of Colorado.

Destination: Buena Vista, CO > Noah's Ark Adventure Camp

Dates: July 3-July 9

Leaders: Tim Frost, Brad Boyd, & Sarah Haas (that's me!)

Students: Joanna, Betsy, Deborah, Lauren, Amanda, Tiana, Magda, Philip, Alexander, Luke, and David.

This site will hopefully be updated by audio blog, so when the week comes, you can check back daily for updates & then at the end of the week for pictures!
One of the best features of this trip besides the fun in Colorado, is the car rides! The multiple hours on the road will be buffered by an entertaining travel book with CD selections to be played at certain points along the road. Inspired by the ideas in the movie Elizabethtown directed by Cameron Crowe, Betsy & I will be composing the materials and encouraging the involvement of everyone on the trip!
